| Zuill Bailey and Simone Dinnerstein (from www.zuillbailey.com) |
This Friday October 21st the internationally renowned cellist Zuill Bailey opens the third year of Simone Dinnerstein's Neighborhood Classics concert series with selections from J.S. Bach's Cello Suites. This wonderful concert series was started (and hosted) by Simone as a way to bring quality classical music for families into her neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn as well as provide an additional revenue boost, in this economically challenging time, to various programs at P.S. 321 (which many of you know is my school). All of the musicians on the series donate their time so every single penny of the income goes to the school. It has been a GREAT success and has even expanded to now include concerts at P.S. 142 in lower Manhattan and P.S 69Q in Queens. Check out everything on the Neighborhood Classics site. Come and support!
